San Francisco is full of
rich history, which is evident with its many museums. One
in particular that stands out to me is the Harbor
Cultural Center. It is located on the north shore of San Francisco
and has some of the most wonderful architecture in
California. There is no other place where you are able
to see Greek Revival styles and Victorian styles all in one
place. It is also the home of the San Francisco
Conservatory of Music. Students at this prestigious school
get to learn about the history and theory of music. Great
music and great sights are something that cannot be beat.

Museums

When you are on an island,
there are a wide variety of parks. The one that stands out
the most is the Great Kills Park which is on the southern
shores. It is a sight to behold, especially the Marina. If
you love the outdoors, you’ll love the availability of
jogging trails, football and baseball fields. Once you are
exhausted, you can jump onto a boat and absorb the scenic
views. What makes Great Kills Park so great is the fact
that they are able to conserve not only the ecology, but
the culture of the area. With these things intact, future
generations can appreciate how far San Francisco has come.
